Jody Swilky is a Professor of English at Drake University who specializes in the teaching of writing and courses concerned with multicultural studies. He holds a doctorate in rhetoric and writing studies and has published many articles on multiculturalism, the teaching of writing, and the politics of schooling. For the past two years he has worked on imagining, writing and revising A Little Salsa of the Prairie: The Changing Character of Perry, Iowa.

Full Spectrum Productions founder and President Kent Newman is an award-winning writer, producer, and director with an extensive background in photography, music, film, video, and multi-media production. Newman also has a background in nonprofit program and agency management, as well as contract project management for businesses and organizations.
